STOP YOUR WHINING, GO BUY DINING.

So lets be real. We all love to entertain. This time of the year we get to show off a little bit. We cook, we decorate, we drive ourselves crazy. It can all be a little overwhelming at times. However if we go into November prepared we can all be one step ahead! No more keeping up with the Joneses, they are trying to keep up with us!  First thing you need to think of even before all the recipes and decorations, is where and how you are going to sit and feed everyone.  Ding, Ding, Ding, its time to buy dinning. Thats right as we get older are families expand, welcoming little ones, significant others and even friends should be an enjoyable process, not a stressful one. And as much as we may think this would be a relatively easy project, most times it is not. Its like trying to buy that little black cocktail dress the day before the big event. Its just not gonna happen and if it does, trust me it wont look right. Keep in mind that while window shopping you may not always find what your looking for. Its not the right color, its not the right size, the shape is ok but the legs don't match. This is when you need to remember, good things come to those who wait. Special order dining can take up to 12 weeks easily. Don't shoot the messenger people! Just get off your butts and start looking!!! Here are a few I recently found and fell in love with. Good luck!

Below is a French dining table. Simple yet sophisticated. I L.O.V.E it! (sung in the voice of Ashley Simpson, before her nose job.) Its got great clean contemporary lines but the rustic oak wood definitely gives it a warm touch. This table goes for $2450.00 at tonic home .

But for those of you who cannot afford that (me). Here is a similar option from Ikea. Way more affordable, coming in at a grand total of $429.00!! Its not identical buuuut it does have the same clean lines and sophisticated look. Pretty cool.

THE STOCKHOLM

Now this one I'm just obsessed with! And the empty space it sits in.  I would totally rollerblade through my house all day long. How much fun would it be to wash the dishes on rollerblades? Seriously. OHH the benefits of cement floors. Anyway we are here to talk tables. Short and simple this will run you about $1800 from Bobby Berk Home . Make sure you measure first, this ones a big ol boy.

THE CLIFF

So I realize everything I just showed you was on the modern side but I do have a place in my heart for more traditional and even antique things.

Heres a good one from VandM.com
